I. About the project:

A Lin B1 Hydropower project  is a large hydroelectric project in Thua Thien - Hue province with a capacity of 42MW. This is a level 2 project of the type of hydroelectric line with high power generation, with reservoir capacity of 24.98 million m3, useful capacity of 1.18 million m3, total investment of nearly 900 billion VND. When completed, the project will supply 177 million KWh of electricity to the national grid. This is an important project, following steps for hydropower projects invested in Thua Thien - Hue province such as Binh Dien, Huong Dien and A Luoi hydropower plants ...
After completion, in addition to electricity supply, the project also creates additional water sources for ladder hydroelectric projects on Rao Trang stream, A Lin B2 with capacity of 20MW, Rao Trang 3, Rao Trang 4; at the same time, contributing to increasing the installed capacity of Huong Dien hydroelectric project. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation after 3 years of construction.
